You worked hard for your nursing license.
The clinicals. The exams. The late nights studying. The tuition bills that seemed to arrive faster than your paycheck.
And while earning your nursing license was worth every hour of hard work, the financial investment does not always end when graduation does.
Many nurses search for tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, nursing jobs that help pay student loans, or employers that support new graduate nurses. At Team Select Home Care, eligible PRN Field Staff may receive support through our Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps qualifying Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) pay down active student loan debt from an accredited nursing program.
Because we know the investment it takes to become a nurse, we believe in investing in our nurses, too.
Quick Answer: Does Team Select Offer Student Loan Repayment for Nurses?
Yes. Team Select Home Care offers a Student Loan Repayment Program for eligible PRN Field Staff, including qualifying LPNs and RNs.
Eligible nurses may receive $437.50 per month directly toward qualifying student loans, up to $5,250 per eligible LPN or RN per year of employment, if they meet program requirements.
This program is designed to support newly graduated nurses as they build meaningful careers in private duty nursing and home health care.

Student Loan Repayment vs. Tuition Reimbursement: What Is the Difference?
Many nurses use the phrase “tuition reimbursement” when searching for employers that help with the cost of nursing school. While the terms are related, they are not always the same.
Tuition reimbursement usually refers to an employer reimbursing education costs, often for current or future coursework.
Student loan repayment usually refers to an employer helping pay down existing student loan debt.
Team Select’s program is a Student Loan Repayment Program because eligible payments are made directly toward qualifying student loans. However, nurses searching for tuition reimbursement for RNs, LPN tuition reimbursement, or nursing jobs with education benefits may still find this program relevant if they have active student loan debt and meet the eligibility requirements.
Nursing School Is an Investment. Your Employer Should Invest in You, Too.
Becoming a nurse takes commitment. It requires time, energy, sacrifice, and financial investment.
For new graduate nurses, early-career RNs, and LPNs building their careers, student loan repayment can feel like one more responsibility to manage while adjusting to life as a licensed nurse. You are learning a new role, building clinical confidence, reviewing benefits, planning your schedule, and thinking about your future.
The right employer can make that transition feel more supported.
Student loan repayment is one way a nursing employer can show that it values the people behind the care. It can help ease some of the financial pressure of nursing school while giving nurses another reason to choose a workplace that supports long-term growth.
At Team Select, student loan repayment is part of a larger commitment to helping nurses build rewarding careers while changing lives for the better.
Who Is Eligible for Team Select’s Student Loan Repayment Program?
You may qualify for Team Select’s Student Loan Repayment Program if you answer yes to all three questions below:

- Are you currently working, or planning to work, at least 130 direct patient care hours per month as PRN Field Staff with Team Select?
Eligible nurses must also have passed the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN and meet program documentation requirements.
If you meet the criteria above, you may be eligible to participate in the program.

What Nurses Should Look for in an Employer That Offers Student Loan Repayment
Not every student loan repayment or tuition reimbursement program is the same.
When researching nursing jobs with student loan repayment, RNs and LPNs should look beyond the benefit itself and consider the full employment experience.
Before applying, ask:
Who qualifies for the student loan repayment benefit?
Do both RNs and LPNs qualify?
Is the benefit available to PRN, part-time, or full-time employees?
Are there direct patient care hour requirements?
Is the benefit available to new graduate nurses?
What documentation is required each month?
What other nursing benefits are offered?
Does the employer provide training and career growth?
Does the care setting match your goals as a nurse?
A strong nursing employer should support your financial goals, clinical development, schedule needs, and long-term career path.
Why Nurses Choose Team Select Home Care
Student loan repayment may help nurses take the first step, but many nurses choose Team Select because of the care model.
Team Select Home Care provides private duty nursing and home health care services, helping pediatric and adult patients receive high-quality care in the comfort of their homes.
Every day, our nurses build meaningful relationships with patients and families while making a lasting difference in their lives.
Unlike many facility-based roles where nurses may care for several patients at once, private duty nursing often allows nurses to focus on one patient at a time. This creates a more personal care experience and gives nurses the opportunity to understand each patient’s needs, routines, progress, and family goals.
Nurses may choose Team Select for:
- Student loan repayment for eligible nurses
- One-on-one patient care
- Private duty nursing opportunities
- Pediatric and adult home health care roles
- Flexible scheduling options
- Support from local care teams
- Career development opportunities
- Meaningful long-term patient relationships
For RNs and LPNs who want their work to feel personal, home health care can be a powerful career path.
Nursing Benefits Beyond Student Loan Repayment
A strong nursing career is supported by more than one benefit.
In addition to student loan repayment, eligible Team Select employees may also have access to:
- Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay
- 401(k) Benefits
- Life and Disability Insurance Options
- Career Advancement Opportunities
These benefits are designed to support nurses professionally, financially, and personally as they continue growing in their careers.
When nurses feel supported, they are better equipped to provide consistent, compassionate care for the patients and families who depend on them.
Why Home Health Care Is a Meaningful Career Path for RNs and LPNs
Home health care offers something many nurses are searching for: the opportunity to provide individualized care while building meaningful relationships.
In private duty nursing and home health care, nurses often work one-on-one with patients in the home. This allows them to provide focused support, build trust with families, and see the impact of their care over time.
For RNs and LPNs, home health care may offer:
- Lower patient ratios
- One-on-one care environments
- Stronger patient and family relationships
- Flexible scheduling opportunities
- Pediatric and adult care experience
- Long-term clinical confidence
Whether caring for medically complex children or adults who need ongoing support, home health care combines clinical skill with human connection.
For many nurses, that is what makes the work so meaningful.
Career Growth for RNs and LPNs in Private Duty Nursing
A nursing career is built through experience, support, and continued learning.
Private duty nursing gives RNs and LPNs the opportunity to strengthen important clinical and professional skills, including communication, patient advocacy, family education, documentation, care planning, and long-term condition management.
Because care is delivered in the home, nurses also learn how to support patients within their daily routines and family environments. This can help nurses grow in confidence while making a direct impact on quality of life.
For nurses interested in pediatric care, adult care, complex care, or long-term patient relationships, Team Select offers opportunities to grow while providing care that truly matters.
Choosing a Nursing Employer That Invests in You
When comparing nursing jobs, it is natural to look at pay, schedule, location, and benefits. Those things matter.
But it is also important to ask deeper questions:
- Does this employer support my long-term career goals?
- Will I have opportunities to grow?
- Does the care model match the type of nurse I want to become?
- Will I feel supported by my local team?
- Does this role allow me to make a meaningful difference?
- Are there benefits that support my financial future?
Team Select’s Student Loan Repayment Program is one example of how we invest in nurses. But the bigger picture is about helping nurses build careers rooted in purpose, support, and meaningful care.
Because when nurses are supported, patients and families benefit.
