Join our in-home care team in a comfortable and positive setting in Atlantic Beach. We’re spotlighting Dante, a sweet and funny 14-year-old boy with Down Syndrome, a G-tube, and an absent esophagus. This rewarding opportunity is perfect for an RN or LPN looking to make a meaningful difference.
About the Position:
We are seeking a second RN or LPN to join our home care team. Our goal is to create a collaborative, upbeat, professional, and rewarding environment to support Dante’s healthcare, learning, and development.
What We Offer:
- Collaborative Team: Work alongside a positive and communicative LPN who currently cares for Dante.
- Flexible Hours: Full-time position with 12-hour daily shifts, typically alternating every other weekend. Usual hours are 8 am-8 pm or 9 am-9 pm, with flexibility to meet your needs.
- Supportive Parents: Involved and supportive parents who encourage autonomy.

- School Involvement: Accompany Dante to a private, small-setting school 4-5 days a week during the school year, fostering a professional and collaborative environment.
- Passion for Care: Enjoys providing care and support in a joyful and nurturing environment.
- Skills Required: Good assessment skills, critical thinking, pediatric and G-tube experience (we can provide G-tube training), and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Dante is very happy, especially when his caregivers take the time to understand his communication and are supportive. He loves music, receives music therapy, and enjoys going to school, walking, going to the beach, and playing with his musical toys and iPad.
