What Is National Nurses Week?

National Nurses Week is celebrated each year from May 6 through May 12, ending on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.

The week recognizes the critical role nurses play in patient safety, recovery, and quality of life across the healthcare system.

From hospitals to home health care, nurses provide clinical expertise, compassion, and stability for patients and families alike.

The American Nurses Association (ANA) leads the national recognition of Nurses Week each year.

Nurses are able to fill out their name, email, and zip code for a chance to win 1 of 3 $100 Visa Gift Cards. Every entry must be submitted before May 12th.

Hi there! I'm a proud graduate of West Virginia University (go Mountaineers!), where my journey into the world of ideas, innovation, and digital magic truly began. Since then, I've become an expert in communication technologies, with a knack for making complex systems feel like second nature. But that’s not all—along the way, I dove deep into the healthcare industry, helping bridge the gap between regulations and patient care. And just when you thought I’d stop there, I took a deep dive into search engine optimization strategies, mastering the art of making content not just visible, but irresistible. From campus coffee-fueled nights to leading-edge digital campaigns, it’s been quite the ride—and I’m just getting started!
