Massachusetts Family Complex Care Assistant (CCA) Program for Medically Fragile Children
Caring for a medically fragile child is one of the most profound responsibilities a family can face. Parents, grandparents, or other family members often become the primary caregiver, but without support, the journey can feel overwhelming. The Florida Family Caregiver Program gives families the opportunity to provide skilled, in-home care for their loved ones while also receiving financial assistance for the life-changing work they do every day. Through Team Select Home Care, families gain access to compassionate professionals, community based services, and supportive programs that allow medically fragile children to thrive safely at home.

Massachusetts Family Complex Care Assistant (CCA) Program
At Team Select Home Care, we believe families should have the option to care for their loved ones at home — with the support, training, and pay they deserve.
Through the Massachusetts Complex Care Assistant Program, qualifying family members can become trained caregivers for loved ones with medically complex needs. Whether caring for a child or an adult, you can provide quality, in-home care while earning an income.
Our Massachusetts office, formerly Marathon Nursing, proudly serves Boston and surrounding communities, partnering with MassHealth's Community Case Management, local hospitals like Boston Children's, Mass General, Franciscan Hospital for Children, and area school districts including Boston Public Schools.
About the Massachusetts Complex Care Assistant (CCA) Program
Complex Care Assistant (CCA) services are a new service type established under the MassHealth Continuous Skilled Nursing (CSN) Agency regulations at 130 CMR 438.000. MassHealth created this program to provide more support for Community Case Management (CCM) members and to offer a way for family caregivers to be paid for delivering specialized care to medically complex MassHealth members.
This program is designed to complement, not replace, CSN services, adding an additional care option for families. CCAs can perform more skilled tasks than a Home Health Aide (HHA) and will work directly through a CSN agency, such as Team Select Home Care.
CCA services can only be provided to MassHealth members who meet the medical necessity requirements for CSN services. Once approved, CCAs receive targeted training so they can provide both personal care and enhanced care tasks, helping loved ones remain in the comfort of home while ensuring they receive high-quality, specialized support.
