The Family Certified Nursing Assistant Program (FCNA) may be called something different, depending on the state’s legislation.

State Updates

The Family Licensed Health Aide Program, commonly known as the Family CNA Program, is now accessible for eligible Arizona families! Eligible Arizona parents and legal guardians can now apply to become paid caregivers for their medically fragile loved one.

This program is fully implemented and already helping hundreds of families in the state of Colorado.

The Family Licensed Nursing Aide Program, commonly known as the Family CNA Program nationally, is now accessible to eligible New Hampshire families! In addition, eligible New Hampshire parents and legal guardians can now apply to become paid caregivers for their medically fragile loved ones.

Team Select will continue to advocate for bringing this program to the state of Illinois.

Team Select anticipates a bill to pass by New Jersey legislature by the end of 2022 allowing implementation of the Family CNA Program.

Team Select is working hard to ensure all Missouri families can receive the care they deserve.

Team Select is beginning to have conversations about the Family CNA Program while we wait for the next legislative session to take place in 2023.

The Family Home Health Aide Program, commonly known as the Family HHA Program, is now accessible for eligible Pennsylvania families! Eligible Pennsylvania parents and legal guardians can now apply to become paid caregivers for their medically fragile loved one.

Team Select will continue to advocate for bringing this program to the state of Virginia.

The Family Home Health Aide Program, commonly known as the Family HHA Program, is now accessible for eligible Indiana families! Eligible Indiana parents and legal guardians can now apply to become paid caregivers for their medically fragile loved one.

Team Select will continue to advocate for bringing this program to the state of Washington.

Team Select will continue to advocate for bringing this program to remaining states across the nation.

State Updates

The clarifying legislation was signed by the Arizona Governor on March 23, 2021. The Arizona Board of Nursing has created and approved the new title of License Health Aide for the Program. Arizona families are waiting on Arizona Medicaid and the Arizona Governor to implement the program.
